Substack, our publishing platform, may also collect additional information as described in their own privacy policy, including technical data about how you interact with emails and the publication website.

We use your email address to:
• Send you OPN issues and occasional publication updates
• Notify you of changes to subscription tiers if and when they occur
• Respond to your messages or questions
We do not sell your email address or personal information to anyone. We do not use your information for advertising. OPN is a publication, not a data business.
Paid subscriptions
OPN offers paid subscriptions for full access to all content. Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor. OPN does not store or have access to your payment card information. If you choose to become a paid subscriber, your billing details are governed by the third-party payment privacy policy.
Cookies and tracking
OPN itself does not set cookies or use tracking technology. We may use standard analytics and email engagement tracking (such as open rates and click tracking) to help publishers understand how content is performing. You can opt out of email tracking through your Substack account settings.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from OPN at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. If you’d like us to delete your subscriber data from our publication records, contact us and we will process that request promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as the publication grows or as legal requirements change. We will notify subscribers of significant changes. The effective date at the top of this document reflects when it was last updated.
